International nursing bridging programme (INBP)
The course delivers the elements required to qualify to work as a nurse in the UK:
- the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
- a Computer Based Test
- an Occupational English Test (OET)
- other modules designed together with the Royal Berkshire Hospital Trust (RBHT)
Delivery is 100% online through the Academic and Professional Studies Faculty (AAPS).
The programme is six months, candidates receive weekly "live" lessons, as well as guided self study, examination practice and personal tutor support throughout. Learners can determine their pace of study to fit with their work and personal commitments.
Assessment on this programme is through a combination of exams (30%) and coursework (70%) including essays, presentations, examinations and a portfolio of evidence.
Once qualified what is next?
Employment in the UK (either in public or private healthcare) as a registered nurse on NHS salary band 5. Whilst we do not provide any guarantee of employment after the course, we will make introductions on your behalf through our extensive network of employers in the UK.
